We offer a Community for Writers at Any Stage
Online Spaces to Keep You Connected

We’re here for you and your writing, if you hang out with us online, in person, or both! We started as a hybrid community–a private Facebook page with a monthly in-person write-in. During the Pandemic, we learned how to be a completely online community, including running TWO completely-virtual National Novel-Writing Months. We’ve learned a lot about how to maintain an encouraging and close community, even if we can’t be together all the time.
There are many ways to participate in our growing community: We offer active, private, moderated safe communities for our writers. Start by signing up for our monthly newsletter and joining our private Facebook community! From there, we are happy to share our Discord

Literary Extravaganza
A December Celebration with our Sister community
We are grateful to share community with a whole region of amazing, prolific writers. Once a year, we gather with The Writers’ Loft community to celebrate our literary accomplishments, launch books, and sell books to the public. You can learn more about the Literary Extravaganza by clicking here.
Bookshop.org Shop
A central place for all our books
We are the proud home of many traditionally- and independently-published writers. We are delighted to present a Bookshop.org bookstore featuring the books of our writers, plus books written by our instructors. You can find it here!
Annual Journal & Small Press
The Fiddlehead Folio and anthology projects
Sharing our work with the world is a special step for the Guild and for our members. Every year, we publish a literary journal called the Fiddlehead Folio, celebrating our writers with, often, their first-ever publication. Through our small press, Puddingstone Press, we also produce anthologies and other work. Our first anthology, Confronting the Chasm, will debut in December 2024.

Our community is made possible by generous donations
