We’re Actively Writing and Publishing

The Guild is full of writers with a spectrum of dreams: many are traditionally published, others are successful independent publishers, yet more dream of becoming traditionally published or are setting up their independent publishing business. We’re here to support our writers however we can!

As part of our work, the Guild started Puddingstone Press, our small press to showcase our community. Started in 2023, Puddingstone Press is the home of the Fiddlehead Folio, our annual journal featuring fiction, nonfiction, first chapters, and poetry. We publish the Folio every year in December, launching it during our Literary Extravaganza and Book Bazaar!

8 Stories of Reconciliation

Confronting the Chasm

When faced with opposition that is strong, dug in, and likely never going to move, where does reconciliation come in? Is it possible? Is reconciliation a good thing? Can it be a constructive force? Or, does reconciliation mean failure? This anthology of nine excellent stories contemplates these questions.
